As you can tell by its frequent mention in our communications, the College Planning Event for Juniors and Junior Parents functions as a pivotal kick-off program for this phase of the college search, in earnest. With our guest, Mr. Cornell LeSane, VP for Enrollment coming from College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts specifically for this event, we aim for 100% participation by Juniors (with as many parents joining as possible) on Thursday, November 17 at 2:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.
- YouScience Sessions and Results
YouScience is a detailed aptitude and strengths assessment designed to help students discern their gifts and connect them to academic pathways and possible future careers with greater clarity and confidence. We have completed our sessions with the Class of 2024 and will review results with juniors in their individual college counseling meetings starting this winter. For more information, please read our letter to parents.
- Junior College Counseling Surveys
Juniors will need to complete their Junior College Planning Survey in Naviance Student no later than their first individual college counseling meeting. The Class of 2024 will have access to the survey from mid-November through early January and will be given time to complete their survey in a Thursday Activity Period.
- Junior Parents College Counseling surveys
Parents will receive more information in November regarding the completion of the Junior Parent Survey in Naviance Student.
