In observance of our Archdiocese’s called Day of Prayer and Fasting Against Racism this Wednesday, our own Dr. Arthur Hippler will present a live webinar, “The Catholic Church and Racism: Toward a More Fraternal Society,” at 11:15 a.m. This presentation was first given to PA faculty at our August workshops, and I highly recommend it. Dr. Hippler is chairman of PA’s theology and religion department, and a celebrated teacher at high school, college, and adult-study levels. He speaks by invitation across the nation, and has published widely on theological and philosophical topics, including the book Citizens of the Heavenly City: A Compendium of Catholic Social Teaching.
