PA will implement distance learning in all grades Pre-K through 12 effective after spring break through at least April 13, Easter Monday.  Note that this means students will not be returning to school after spring break.  Our faculty members at each grade level will spend Monday, March 30th, and Tuesday, March 31st, in special training and preparations for distance-learning instruction.  Distance learning lessons for students will begin to be implemented Wednesday, April 1.

  • PA will work with all families, by division, on special preparations for distance learning.  Much of the architecture that will be utilized is already well tested in Middle and Upper Schools.  Relevant technologies are currently used throughout PA.  Additional enhancements will be introduced in the secondary divisions, and distinct preparations will be made for Lower School distance learning.  We will be facilitating regular interactions between teachers and students.
  • PA will communicate with you later this week in more detail about plans and preparations for distance learning, and how your family can prepare for the April 1 start date.  In addition, we will be developing an updateable “FAQ” feature to address anticipated questions and those that emerge.
