Providence Academy currently has zero active community COVID-19 cases. There has been a total of one community case in the past four weeks. Huzzah!
Last week I said that today I would “hope to offer more specifics about how PA will plan to expand activities under current guidance.” While specifics will still develop according to guidance, we can achieve the following at least:
- Music ensemble performances (1) where performance spaces can accommodate numbers of performers under spacing guidelines, and (2) where live attendance numbers are limited. (Protocols for sports events are models for the possible.)
- Academic and co-curricular award events, without customary meals.
- Special spring events, especially for seniors, re-envisioned where necessary to follow protocols.
- Commencement, whether indoors or outdoors, accommodating the most attendees permitted by state regulations.
