Evening Programs (all programs begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Lecture Hall)

  • September 4 – Senior Parent Night
  • November 12 – Junior College Planning Night (students and parents invited)
  • November 20 – College Financial Aid Information Night (all junior and senior families invited)
  • December 5 – College Entrance Testing Information Night
  • March 4, 2020 – Sophomore Parent Night
  • May 13, 2020 – Freshman Parent Night

College Conversations Programs (these begin at 8:15 a.m., all Upper School parents invited)

Student Field Trips

  • October 1 – Minnesota National Performing and Visual Arts College Fair (hosted at the Minneapolis Institute of Art)
  • November 6 – Sponsored bus trip to University of Minnesota-Twin Cities (visit to include both the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses)

College Entrance Testing Dates and Prep Opportunities

  • September 14 – National ACT Testing Date (PA serves as a test site)
  • October 16 – PSAT Testing (sophomores and juniors, during the school day)
  • October 26 – Free Practice ACT for Juniors (registration form)
  • November 9 – Fall ACT Prep Course begins (on site via Breakaway Test Prep)
  • January 11, 2020 – Winter ACT Prep Course begins (on site via Breakaway Test Prep)
  • April 4, 2020 – Free Practice ACT for Sophomores
  • May 4-15, 2020 – AP Testing

Other Programs

  • October 1 – Groves Academy LD/ADHD College Fair (6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Doubletree by Hilton, St. Louis Park)
  • October 2-3 – Minneapolis National College Fair (hosted at the Minneapolis Convention Center)
  • October 12 – Fall Essay Workshop for Seniors (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
  • January 8, 2020 – PA Alumni Forum (3:30 p.m., all Upper School students and parents invited)
  • April 22, 2020 – College Day (all students in Grades 9-11 participate, all parents invited)
