Catholic Schools Week is underway  in the Upper School.  

New this year – Upper School Catholic Schools Week Party – Friday, February 3rd, following the home basketball game, all Upper School students are invited to attend. Students will gather in the PA Great Room to hang out with friends and enjoy music, food, Bingo, Casino Games and Prizes.  All are encouraged to attend this casual event from 8:00-11:00 p.m.  Tickets will be on sale in the Upper School office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for $10.00 each.

Below you will find the schedule of activities for the remainder of the week.

Tuesday 

  • Start the day with donuts in the Atrium!
  • Dress Competition / 9th & 10th Grade – DRESS AS YOUR FAVORITE FICTIONAL CHARACTER. This is a full out of uniform for all students in 9th and 10th grade who choose to follow the theme.  As always, your outfit must be neat, clean and modest, free of tears, graphics or slogans that are not in keeping with PA values. The grade that has the best showing of fictional characters will be in the running for morning bagels on Friday.
  • 11th and 12th – You must be in full uniform as you will have Mass this day
  • Tickets to the US Catholic Schools Week Party go on sale in the US office – $10.00 each 

Wednesday

US Service and Fun Day!  

  • Following acts of service, all will go to the activity that they have chosen.       All student accounts will be charged $20.00 to help defray a small portion of these activities.  *Note – Any student who signs up for an activity but fails to attend school on February 2nd will be charged for the entire cost of the activity.
  • This is a full out of uniform day, however, you need to wear PA Catholic Schools Week wear OR PA Spirit Wear neck to waist.  Jeans or sweats or loose fitting joggers are fine, but no leggings.  As always, clothing must be neat, clean and modest, free of tears, graphics or slogans that are not in keeping with PA values.
  • Tickets to the US Catholic Schools Week Party go on sale in the US office – $10.00 each 

Thursday

  • Out of Uniform  – Rhyme Without Reason – Team up with a friend to dress up in rhyming outfits that likely have nothing to do with each other. Get really creative, Girl Boss + Bob Ross, Little Old Lady + Tom Brady, Crazy Cat Lady + The Boss Baby, Dad + Grad, Fairy + Harry (Styles), Hannah Montana + Princess Diana, The Rock + Electric Shock, Lightning McQueen + Mr. Clean, Shrek + Star Trek, Mathlete + Athlete, Mobster + Lobster
  • The grade that had the best showing of “Fictional Characters”, will have bagels in the Atrium before school
  • US Catholic Schools Week Party – 8:30-11:00 in the Great Room.  Tickets will not be sold at the door, so purchase yours early!
