On Friday, the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) alerted us that our Assistant Athletic Director, Mr. Daren Messmore, has been recognized by this association as a Certified Athletic Administrator.
To earn this distinction, Mr. Messmore has demonstrated the highest level of knowledge and expertise in the field of interscholastic athletic administration. The voluntary certification process included a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s educational background, experience and professional contributions, as well as a rigorous, comprehensive written examination.
He is one of an elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators nationwide to attain this level of professionalism.
Director of Athletics Mr. Rick Johns, CMAA, said, “It gives me great pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations to Mr. Messmore for earning this distinction. This program presents best practices in use today that better prepare athletic administrators to offer quality programs and to develop, enhance, and preserve the educational values of interscholastic athletics. I trust that Daren will use this gained knowledge to continue his work for the improvement of our department and the positive educational-based experience that each PA student receives.”
Please help me in congratulating Mr. Messmore on this great accomplishment.
