Volleyball Overview

The Lions Volleyball program at Providence Academy offers participation for girls in grades 6 – 12. This past school year Providence hosted 4 teams for the middle school and high school girls. The varsity program is part of the Minnesota Christian Athletic Association. Some of the schools in their conference include Southwest Christian, Maranatha Christian Academy, and Heritage Christian Academy. The team will usually play 20 games in a season, which includes 1 or 2 tournaments and a few non-conference games.

Coach: Mrs. Colleen Carron

The head coach of the program is Mrs. Colleen Carron. Coach Carron has been a teacher and coach the past 10 years and feels privileged to have spent the last 3 at Providence Academy. She has been the head coach of the girls program the past 2 seasons. In that time the team has grown in experience and character. The girls have proven to work hard and are determined to play up to the high standards that are set.
