Girls and Boys Track Overview
|
The Girls' and Boys’
track and field program at Providence Academy offers participation for
students in grades 7-12. The varsity program is registered with the
Minnesota State High School League and the team participates in the
Minnesota Christian Athletic Association as their primary conference.
Providence Academy's track team was the state champion in 2008 and the
runner-up in Class A in 2009.

Nate Millerbernd
|
|
The head coach of the
program is Mr. Nate Millerbernd. Coach Millerbernd is an investment advisor
in the local community. He has been the head coach of the girls and boys
program the past 4 seasons. He is a former Minnesota State track and field
champion from Winsted Holy Trinity. He is also a former team captain, team
MVP, and 1st team all-conference football player from South
Dakota State University, where he also competed on the track team. His
wife, Sarah Millerbernd, is a 1st grade teacher at Providence
Academy. |
