Ms. Diane Hagner teaches mathematics in the Academy’s Upper School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the College of Charleston and a master’s in operations research from the College of William and Mary. Before joining Providence Academy, Ms. Hagner taught mathematics for thirteen years at The Blake School. During her tenure at Blake, Ms. Hagner also served as the academic coordinator for ninth and tenth grades and as the upper school registrar. Prior to teaching in independent schools, Ms. Hagner was an officer in the United States Navy where she taught mathematics, chemistry, and radiation theory at the United States Naval Nuclear Power School.
