Mrs. Sarah McDermott teaches fourth grade at Providence Academy. She holds a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the College of St. Benedict. Mrs. McDermott has more than eighteen years of experience, teaching a variety of grade levels. Before joining Providence, she taught for two years at St. Philip Neri Catholic School in Midwest City, OK and eleven years at Orono public schools. Mrs. McDermott worked as a substitute teacher at Providence Academy for two years and joined the full time faculty in 2006. In addition, she has been a part of the Providence community as a parent and volunteer since the inception in 2001.
