Mrs. Nicole Schafer teaches Spanish in the Academy’s Upper School. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Spanish, Theology, and Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas. Mrs. Schafer served in Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) where she earned a Master’s of Education, Foreign Language Instruction. She comes to the Academy from St. John the Evangelist Interparochial School in Plaquemine, Louisiana where she taught Spanish and Scripture. Mrs. Schafer studied internationally in Spain, Argentina, and Italy, and most recently traveled with students to Costa Rica.
