Mrs. Nancy Galgano serves as the Lower School Director, with responsibility for the operations of Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5. Prior to this position, she taught second grade at Providence Academy. Mrs. Galgano holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of St. Catherine and a B.A. in Communications from Fordham University. Mrs. Galgano has many years of experience in education from pre-school through adult ages. In addition to having served as the president of a parent-run cooperative pre-school in California, she has taught the Core Knowledge curriculum to her own children and was a substitute teacher in several Twin Cities area schools. She also has more than eighteen years of experience as a religious educator in parishes, including service on a parish Religious Education board. Mrs. Galgano has also worked as a corporate training manager with Citibank in New York.
