Mrs. Marcia Farniok, second grade teacher, brings a world view and business training to Providence Academy. Mrs. Farniok comes most recently from Epiphany Catholic School in Coon Rapids where she taught Kindergarten and first grade. She also has teaching experience in Brookline and Belmont, Massachusetts. Mrs. Farniok has twice brought her skills to the Internally Displaced Persons’ camp of Gulu, Uganda, where she held workshops for elementary teachers and taught in Kindergarten classrooms. She has four years of management experience in the hotel industry. She is a licensed Reading Specialist K-12. Mrs. Farniok achieved her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Nutrition Minor at the College of St. Benedict, and her Master of Education at Boston College.
