Mrs. Lahr teaches Spanish to Middle and Upper School Students at the Academy.  She came to Providence from St. Paul Academy and Summit School. where she taught Middle and Upper School Spanish, directed a student study program in Costa Rica, and traveled with students to Cuba. She has also taught Spanish in Rosemount, Apple Valley and at Saint John's Preparatory School in Collegeville.  Mrs. Lahr holds a bachelor’s degree in education and Spanish from St. Cloud State University and a master’s degree in Curriculum Design and Development from St. Mary's University of Minnesota.  She most recently directed a study and home stay trip with Providence Academy students in Spain. The curriculum she designs and teaches is enhanced by her experiences of having studied and lived in Mexico, Spain and England.
