Mrs. Debra Spears currently serves as the Middle School Dean of Students and Coordinator of Summer Programs. She also teaches a variety of courses throughout the Academy’s three Divisions: personal finance in the Upper School, keyboarding and word processing courses in the Lower School and study skills in the Middle School. Before joining the Providence Academy faculty, Mrs. Spears worked for General Mills in finance and accounting. While at General Mills she gained practical business skills and knowledge, which are assets to the courses she teaches and roles that she plays at Providence. Mrs. Spears received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and General Management from Purdue University.
