Mrs. Connie Simons teaches Kindergarten at Providence Academy. Mrs. Simons has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Quincy University. She also possesses a seasoned child/classroom perspective, derived from twelve plus years of experience as a teacher in a Catholic school setting. She is a recognized subject matter expert in the teaching of phonics, and was a finalist in the 1995 archdiocese’s Outstanding Catholic School Teacher Award recognition program. Mrs. Simons has a reputation for creatively incorporating Catholicity in lesson plans and her efforts have been featured in several community and archdiocese publications.
