Mr. Rousar brings more than ten years of experience teaching fine art to Providence Academy. He has previously served as assistant director and an instructor at Charles Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy and vice president of The Minnesota River School of Fine Art in Burnsville. During his tenure at The Minnesota River School, he also served as an instructor and led art-based tours of Italy, England and Spain. He attended Atelier Lack and Atelier LeSueur, both in Minnesota, as well as Studio Cecil-Graves in Florence, Italy. He has been a practicing professional artist for more than 20 years, focusing mainly on Christian themes, and is the author of two books about traditional art instruction. Mr. Rousar teaches art, publications and is a technology coordinator at Providence Academy.
