Mrs. Debra Spears
Welcome to Summer 2013
at Providence Academy!
Building on the cornerstone of academic excellence and strong Christian values, Providence Academy’s Summer Program offers a variety of academic, enriching and fun experiences that are open to the whole community! We are proud to offer activities from drama and driver’s education to video game design, clay molding, and basketball. We also offer The P.A.L.S. Camp, for students wanting a full day camp experience. See everything we offer by downloading the 2013 Summer Programs Catalogue! Online registration will open March 11th. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, pick up a hard copy of the registration form from Providence Academy’s Administrative office or send an email to request that one is sent to you. Register by May 17th.
All of the programs promote active learning in a safe and comfortable environment by providing quality content, excellent instructors, and a focus on faith in God and moral character. Students may participate in one activity or several.
The high quality programs are open to all students entering grades K-12. Participants do not need to be enrolled at Providence Academy (PA) to participate. Whether a family is looking to expand upon the quality education their child is receiving at PA, meet students and families prior to attending PA, or enjoy some of the benefits the school has to offer while enrolled elsewhere, the Summer Program promotes experiential learning, creative and academic growth, and unique summer experiences.
Most of the Summer Program activities are located in Providence Academy’s stately school building and on its beautiful, 42-acre campus. This allows participants to take advantage of the various onsite resources; state of the art science facilities and visual arts’ studio, multiple high quality gymnasiums, various athletic fields, and much more. Providence Academy is conveniently located near major highways (94/694, 494, and 169) at 15100 Schmidt Lake Road, Plymouth, Minnesota.
We look forward to being a part of your summer and giving meaning to the saying that, “what happens at camp brings home fond memories!”
