Providence Academy Tree Lighting Event Open To All

(November 14^th, 2008) – Providence Academy will hold its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 5^th beginning at 4 P.M.  The evening will kickoff with a spaghetti dinner offered in the Academy’s Great Room.  The cost of the dinner will be $5 for adults and $3 for children.

At 5 P.M., following the fellowship and food, attendees are invited to the Academy’s main entrance to watch the lighting of the large Christmas tree that is displayed each winter.  The community will gather to sing carols for a few minutes and enjoy the glittering 26 foot tree.

Participants are invited to stay for the girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball games played consecutively against Heritage Christian Academy at 6:00 P.M.  The entire evening is open to the community and any who wish to attend are welcome.      

The annual outdoor Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at Providence Academy on December 5th.
